July 31, 2005: Blue Skies Choir does "The Far Saskatchewan"

At this year's Blue Skies Festival in beautiful Clarendon, Ontario (about an hour west of Perth), choir director extraordinaire Andy Rush and several dozen accomplices will perform a choral version of my song "The Far Saskatchewan" (from the CD "Made Off Sky"), and I'll be there to sing along. The Blue Skies choir takes form at the beginning of the weekend and (thanks to Andy's magic) is ready to perform some wonderful and innovative pieces by Sunday evening. I feel extremely honoured that Andy has chosen to highlight one of my songs, and of course I am delighted to be able to sing from the Blue Skies main stage (long a dream of mine, as I am a Blue Skies aficionado from way back). Blue Skies is a legendary "tiny perfect festival" which requires no advertising, so if you don't already have a ticket you may not get one (though some day passes are likely to be available).
