April 20th Earth Day concert with Just Voices
I’m delighted to let you know that this Friday, April 20th, I will be the featured guest performer at an Earth Day Concert organized annually by Just Voices (http://www.justvoices.ca/).
Just Voices is an energetic community choir based in Ottawa that sings songs on activist and protest themes such as social injustice, war and the environment, including freedom, bicycling, and workers' songs from many countries. They will open the evening at 8:00 p.m. with a half-hour set of lively choral music. During the break, concert-goers can browse the information tables hosted by various organizations. Afterwards, I will take over the stage for about an hour of my original songs. I hope to see you there!
Time: 8:00 p.m., Friday April 20th (this week!)
Location: Ecclesiax Church, 2 Monk Street (at 5th Avenue) in the Glebe.
Tickets:
